Metalheads of Modern Science

Stanford just published an article featuring my new class: the “Metalheads of Modern Science”. I developed this course to teach undecided Freshmen what Materials Science and Engineering is through the lens of metals - from ancient metallurgy to 3D printing, aerospace, biology and more! Beyond just introducing the concepts, we also strongly focused on what careers look like in each of these fields - both conventional and more unusual ones.
